My parakeet, Larry, is terrified when he sees me with my hair wrapped in a towel, or with a broom.
They keep us on our toes! The broom makes more sense to me than the towel 🙂 although neither is any more rational than being afraid of watermelon!
My Budgies love when I have a towel! They get close to the bars and peer at me with one eye and sing. Especially my Male. He loves looking at me with a towel, but they hate if I have Sunglasses on my head.
The towel fascination sounds adorable!
